    Fitting Kitchen Sink Bottom Grids:
    Measurements
are given in both nominal (describe size of sink) and actual (measurements of grid).  With the exception of box sinks the top of the sink is larger than the base. For example: manufacturer's model numbers usually refer to the size of the sink 28x20 while the grid size is 26.5x18.
    Drain Hole
    (s) usually are located in the center or to the rear of center.  Also there can be more than one. They need to line up.
    Corners
may be square or rounded. Rounded corners may be of different radiuses, although generally they are similar. Take a good look.
Remember a little smaller will work just fine; larger won't fit at all... and if in doubt ask questions.
